Peng I got this for my home networking, heavy internet Hulu and Netflix video, VPN, and online gaming. No problem. No lag. The figer optic port is a bouns, but I don't have the capacity to use it. So I can't comment on that. It is a unmanaged switch, so it is very easy to set up.
