Happy Customer By Maxxo EASE OF SETUP My wife has no clue on how to use these kinds of products and has little to none knowledge on computers and setting up a Router. And I was expecting to come home and set it up myself but instead I got a text message saying she just got done setting it up and that its working great! To my disbelief I asked if she did it and she said that the CD and instructions that came with it were so easy to understand that she had her first success with installing something. (well of course I had to tweak it to my liking but it just shows the ease of setup) SPEED AND QUALITY I've had a Belkin wireless router for the last 4 years. It's been a fantastic router, but it's been showing its age lately. I shopped around and bought the Linksys E3000 since it was gigabit and had dual simultaneous bands reaching 450 mbps. I am not sure where Cisco got those numbers from because I was never able to reach those numbers - either wired or wireless. Performance was so bad that even streaming movies from my NAS seemed to stress the router out requiring frequent reboots. I did some more research and found the Medialink Router (ASIN: B0044YU60M) and the reviews are absolutely wonderful but then I found the Tenda router and it look identical to the MediaLink router (the Medialink is 150mps and this one has 300mps) and the Tenda was a lot cheaper. Eventually - I the risk buying a product without reviews and settled on this little beauty. It cost me a Fifth of what I paid for the E3000, didn't have gigabit or dual-n, but what it did have was rock solid stability, easy and simple to setup AND fast. I know the E3000 supposedly has better specs than this router - but let me assure you - this baby knocks the E3000 out of the park. Perhaps the E3000 I bought was defective - but honestly - this router killed the E3000. And it's been going strong for the last 1 week with 0 reboots. Trust me - this one is a keeper! BOTTOM LINE PROS: - Great price - Easy setup - Multiple modes available - Solid, nice looking hardware with internal antenna - Has the speed of 300mps - Small palm size design CONS: - I didn't find this unit 4 years sooner. Overall, in this price range this is a Winner Thank you. See all 1 customer reviews...
