The best customer reviews 65 of 70 people found this review helpful. Routing sky ... Almost by A. Dent Linksys E3200 is certainly an impressive product. It is easy to set up a router that seems to work reliably and also comes with some notable bells and whistles. However, turned out some of the claims of "high performance" to be a little excessive and was not impressed by the quality of the user's support.SETUP (5 out of 5) A question most of us wonder before continuing to create something as complicated as a new router is "I will be able to get it to work for me?" The good news is that in this case the answer must be "likely or very likely." For a basic installation, just plug the router, running Cisco Connect a CD on a computer equipped with Wi-Fi adapter and ... to connected.C Cisco Connect is an application designed to help organize well, add devices to the network - and again the router is in operation, and most of the devices themselves, as soon as the password in - limited access as a "guest" on a separate network permit, set parental controls, test the speed of your Internet connection and directly manage your router, if you divide your network for better performance, configuration of DNS and DHCP, wireless advanced settings, security, administration, disk drives, if you have a set of access policies and so he must get as sophisticated as you need it and the good news is that both Cisco and the web interface of the router Connect are well organized and a manual very well written and supported in great detail. I'll post the link to the PDF Download as a comment to this review.M My basic setup is completed in a few minutes and took a few minutes to register for individual devices: laptops, desktops, printers, portable gaming devices, home servers, all of internet radio that a wired connection (4 10/100/1000 ports available) requires no configuration. The more advanced tasks, such as reserving IP addresses for printers and a media hub and "split" the traffic in two separate networks called the mapping to the router, two bands (2.4 MHz and 5 MHz) were also simple and good covered by the manual. It is important that Cisco Connect is installed on a computer, if not all, because the first thing you do when you run it to the status of the router and any problems when trying to detect. For "the past" I installed the Cisco website and I have no problems during or after installation completed.P Performance and range (4 of 5) Depending on your clients, the router can give as much as 2 x 300 Gb - this was a great improvement over 80211g router it replaces. There is a lot considering that the best thing I get from my ISP's upstream 15 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps, but today home network has many internal traffic when you use the NAS drives, media servers or servers at home that are set to run backups. While the router supports 802.11 a / b / g / n manual warns that the best results are achieved when all customers to support 802.11n and 802.11a that a single customer, the entire network present. In slow practice, I was constantly 150 Mbps at 5 GHz band in the same room about 30 meters from the router (except for a few minutes each day as the 5 GHz signal drops for no apparent reason - see the posted screen shots). Plant in the middle, 90 Mbps possible, but the 5 GHz band was not as reliable or can get a steady stream of 54 Mbps, sometimes better at 24 GHz with 2 plants in the middle (router in the basement and my team on the second floor and at the other end of the house, just 70-80 meters) from the 5 MHz band has become almost unusable (I'll post some pictures inSSIDer) and 2.4 GHz 24.6 Mbps take me, still OK to surf the Internet. The computers on the second floor directly above the router receives a constant 50-70 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band
